I was tagged by the evil...uh, I mean, by my friend Tee :iconnotee:! 10 times. So, I'll just get this behind me now.

I think I'm supposed to tell 10 random facts about me? Uhh, well:

1. I love strawberries. So much that it's unhealthy.

2. I want to talk to a time traveller/alien/robot at least once in my life before I die (...)

3. I have no idea what to say anymore.

4. I wanna go to an art school! But they refused me already. I don't know if I can take the humiliation of crawling back there like a worm again though.

6. Sorry, darlin'. I'm gay................Just kidding.

7. I'm a zany fangirl. I didn't know that until recently, but I am. Darn it.

8. I can't cook. I also can't sew or crochet. I won't be able to make sweaters for my grandkids. Mh. They'll love me.

9. I have an unhealthy obsession over all kinds of art. I spend way too much time drooling over great artwork, which is why I rarely draw at all. God of the fine arts, HELP ME!

10. I behave like a kid. Like in, highly immature. People usually think I'm 14. It's awkward.

FINALLY! I won't tag anyone, because I'm not mean. I like disobeying the rules! That's the 11th fact.

Je suis back

Fri Jul 3, 2009, 5:28 PM
Yaay I'm back, nobody cares. I just realized that I haven't added any drawing in two years. Well, I haven't improved one little bit, so it's kind of useless to do so. Well..that's all I wanted to say. Oh, and I'm very excited about the games that will be coming out this and next year! Especially Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. They also announced a Xbox 360 version of the Witcher some while ago, but they cancelled it, I believe? What a pity. I would've loved to play the game again while sitting on my couch. I'm so lazy. Well, that's all. It has been very exciting to read this block of text, hasn't it?

witching rant about german dubs

Sat Nov 15, 2008, 6:20 AM
I just surfed through amazon.de and found out that there's a book series of The Witcher! Since I don't know Polish, I have to read the German translation, yuck. Let's hope it's good enough so I won't have to puke or something. Because German translations are usually horrible to read. At least for me. Well, all kinds of translations are horrible, actually. The original is the best anyway. Let's hope the German translation is not as bad as the German version of the game itself. Well, the dubbing is not exactly..'bad'. But it's not good either, and it just doesn't FIT! It just doesn't. I almost felt sick when I played this in German, so I changed to the Polish dubbing immediantly...harrhrrhrr. Geralt's voice almost made me cry, seriously. Why do German RPG translations have to suck soo badly!? I just remembered the Baldur's Gate dubbing..ahh NOO spare me, painful, paaainful memories are those. I think the main problem is that those characters just talk too damned 'formal'. Because normally many Germans have this kind of slang, just because we don't want to pronounce the words correctly because we're too lazy and it would sound stupid. But in the German dubbings of RPGs, they pronounce the words correctly and it just sounds so..disgusting to my ears. It just sounds as if no normal person on earth would EVER talk like this. That's why it sounds so cheap. Well, it may be that that's the right way to speak and all, and that people back then really talked like that and stuff, but then I seriously don't understand why in the English version of games, they just talk completely normal like everyone does!? Ha, take THAT. Urghh. Oh well, I should eat something now and do my homework. Oh, and ignore this rant plzkthx.

Well, the conclusion of this is.....................................avoid German dubbings at all costs. Yeah, you can go home now, kids. *oders german translated witcher books*. I feel sick.

KNOCK THIS STUFF!

Thu Nov 13, 2008, 6:27 PM
Seriously, just found out that the main character of Final Fantasy Versus XIII is called Knockthi..Noctis. I want to cry. He'll always be "the prince" for me. No, you won't change that, SquareEnix.

Oh, and also, I got a new PC, yay! I know this isn't important, but I just thought I'd add it. It's not soo fast. I think. 512 mb video card, dual core 5gh and 2 gb of ram. It's slow, right? RIGHT!?!? Oh well, I can play Dead Space on it, that's all I need for my life. And The Witcher, of course. That's a Polish RPG. I play it in Polish with English subtitles, just because Polish is too damned sexy for words. Oh, à propos sexy (I hate that words, that's why I'll overuse it now. FUN!) and back to Dead Space! Did I already mention that Isaac's back is damned sexy to look at? If you do nothing more for hours than stare at it? DID I!?! DID I? And that his mask is sexy, too? EH!?! Take that! I wish they'd make a sequel in which he talks more. I wanna..eh.. What? Oh, nothing.

I wish I could draw. I wanna draw Isaac fanart. Isaaaac. Oh god, I'm mutating into a screaming fangirl.
